Only in Wheeling WV, will you find such a unique business. Kathy Kyle Stout has been president of Wildscape Inc. Since 1995 when she and her then husband, Ben Stout III created the business. Now after 18 years, wildscape is still creating unique jewelry using the cases of the caddisfly larva.. It is a wonderful opportunity to educate people about the importance of our streams and also to show off the beauty of Nature and our little artisans! OK, the caddisfly larva have been in the lab for about a month now. I have been out collecting.. so I do have some new ones that just arrived last week. It is awsome to watch the changes they go through as they grow and begin to work with the stone substrate.
